As a psychologist I do believe that the solutions and resources to cope with problems and difficulties we might face throughout life lie within all of us. The accepting, supporting, understanding and attentive atmosphere of psychological counselling gives you the space you need to understand yourself and the situation as well as learn methods to cope with it. On the course of our work together verbal therapeutical techniques are accompanied with creative art coaching and art therapy methods in order to mobilize new viewpoints and creative problem solving. Furthermore, I work with the tool set of cognitive behavioural therapy and schema therapy as well. The former is based on understanding and reframing the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviour; the latter on learning about and reshaping our patterns and reactions to specific situations and interactions, and on becoming aware of our basic emotional needs.
